Can someone please advise is driving license valid or can be cancelled by ho while processing JR.

I go to everymonth sign on officer asked me about my driving licence and took copy but did not replied anything!

Can they stop and if yes can we appeal?

Yes, DVLA can revoke your drivers licence if you have no legal status.
