Irl ... savings or overtime

Hi
My wife will be applying for irl next year under the new spousal visa rules. Nearly 5 years now
I earn £17800 per yr below the required £18600.
I wanted to check if i combined savings how much saving would i need for 6 months and how much overtime would i need for the last 6 month if i did it that way.
