Thanks to the admin and the great members and contributors on this platform. Am in a very big dilemma and would really appreciate advice from those that have had similar experience.
I reached 10years of legal stay in september 2016 and pasded my life in the uk test in February 17.
I am currently on a tier 1 entrepreneur visa and is about to expire in a couple of weeks time.
I applied for the one day service at croyden for my indefinite leave to remain (long residence) on the 23rd march 17, but they asked me if i still had access to the 50k i told them i had when i first was granted tier 1, i said yes abd the case worker asked me to go bring a proof in form of my business bank statement, i then requested for more time as i couldnt get a bank statement that day, they granted me 14days to provide futher additional documents which included the proof of 50k.
I realised i couldnt get all the document they requested so i sent a letter to the case worker on the 3rd april for a futher time extension and it got to them 4th april. Then on the 5th april i withdrew the application because i still didnt have all what i was required to provide. The withdrawal form was done online and they said i would get my documents back in 10days. This is the last day in may and i still havent heard back nor have i received my documents back. I am starting to panic because i dont know what to do now. I am unsure if i should go ahead and submit a fresh postal application without my documents or send them another letter saying i no longer want to withdraw my application and send them the document i was asked to provide even though the 14 days had passed. Please advice me. Thank you

I suggest to wait for your documents. However if they did not arrive before your visa expiry, make sure to apply for ILR via postal to protect yourself under section 3C.

Following up on my visa withdrawal and return of documents. The home office eventually returned my documents from the first application in the 14th July;without my passports included; bearing in mind i had already submitted a new postal application. I called the ukvi helpline and God the lady was so rude and eager to get me off the phone line, anyways she asked me to send the documents to the postal address where my new application was posted and also fill a new return of document form online to get my passport so i can post it to their office where i sent my new postalapplication (riduculous). Now i dont know how long the return of passport will take. Should i send the documents now and wait for my passport to arrive and send that seperately or wait and send docs and passport together when its returned or wait till home office writes back about my new application requesting for it? Am just at a cross road and i dont know how to deal with this situation. Has anyone gone through a similar situation or any help or advice will be really helpful. Thanks

You passports will NOT be returned and will be kept by HO until you are granted leave or you get them in the airport if decided to leave the UK.

Your postal application will be processed at Sheffield. Send any supporting document to that address. Your passports will be at HO until your application is decided

After few months of stress and worry my ilr was finally granted in november when i re apllied via a solicitor.

My question now is how soon can i apply for naturalisation/BC after my ilr granted and is there any link to finding out the requirement for qualifying for british citizenship and how long the application takes?

Any help or guide will be appreciated.

Thanks
