ILR SET(M) or SET(O)

Hi all,

My wife shall be eligible for ILR under new rules (5 year route) early next year. She had received her first 2.5 visa as partner of a British Citizen from India and then received another 2.5 year extension here in the UK.

I have been a British citizen (settled via HSMP//Tier 1 route) since her first Visa.

Does she need to use SET(M) or SET(O) form? Also does she need to meet financial requirements again (of £18600?), similar to original visa and subsequent visa extension applications?

Thanks

Hi, but on the form itself never asked about financial requirement?

Apply to settle in the UK wrote:If you’re on the 5-year route you’ll need to prove you have at least:

£18,600 for each year for you
£22,400 if you’re including 1 child
£2,400 for each additional child
You won’t need to prove this if you or your partner get certain disability benefits or a carer’s allowance, but you’ll need to adequately accommodate and support yourselves and any dependants.

Section 8 of SET(M) asks for details.
