Tier 1E Extension to 5-years ILR jobs

Hi everyone,

I am currently on my 2-years extension and was going to hire 4 people over the next 6 months to fulfill the job requirements however a friend of mine told me that the pre-april 2014 transitional rules do not apply to ILR and the positions need to exist for at least 12 consecutive months.

I appreciate any information if someone knows how It works.

Many thanks

Your friend is wrong. From the Tier 1E guide:
Pre 6 April 2014 transitional arrangement

If you successfully applied to enter the route before 6 April 2014, and you are making an extension application or a settlement application, you may continue to employ (and score points for job creation) :

- one worker for 24 months ;
- one worker for 6 months and one for 18 months ;
- 4 workers for 6 months each

Ok thanks very much. He said It only works if the extension was granted pre April 2014 not the initial 3 years visa. but It seems that the route means the initial visa and he was completely wrong.

Many thanks
