Hello good people at immigration board,
I am due to apply for my ILR this January when I would have completed 5 years of my employment with a restaurant. My job type is public relations professionals and the salary is 24000 gross per year working 37 hrs per week. Do I have any hope or is it a lost battle? Please help with your valuable suggestions.

The min salary requirement for ILR under Tier 2 General is 35K, unless you are working in an occupation that is on the shortage occupation list or at Phd level.

The £35,000 salary, what if my boss is willing to pay me if I work for 48 hr/week? On the other hand, my CoS states 37 hr/week. Can this not be increased by using the SMS?

You can stay up to 6 years on Tier 2. Then either you have to switch to another category or leave the UK.
