Hello.
I have a silly question but i need an answer. I came to uk 13/03/2010 for student visa untill 13/04/2013 then i was granter tier 1 entreprenur visa from 13/05/2013 to 13/05/2016. Then on april 2016 i applied for asylum and refused and i have appealed to upper tribunal and currently waiting for a hearing date. My question is time I spent during asylum process does they count towards 10 years long stay residency.
Thank you. Really appreciate your answer.

Possibly only if your asylum is successful, but wait for others who might know to confirm. If asylum is refused, you will have been an overstayer since your Tier 1 Ent expired.
Why did you claim asylum when you have had valid visas? What were the reasons for the refusal??
Did you not qualify to extend your Tier 1 Ent??

Thanka for quick reply.I had £100000 in my bank account back home to invest in uk business but it got block due go some problems in my country that's why I apply for asylum. They reason I applied before tier1 visa finished was not to overstay.

Rather a weak claim don't you think?

So if your asylum claim appeal is refused, which is likely, then you will be an overstayer from the date your last visa expired.
Why are you reluctant to state the reasons why HO refused your claim?

It's just due to some errors in documents I provided.
