ILR Long residence with old passport scans, no originals

Hiya,

I am about to apply for ILR (10 years), the absence numbers are all fine, everything seems fine...

BUT - due running out of pages I had to renew my passport twice during those 10 years and as part of having the passports renewed in my country the old ones are destroyed, so consequently I do not have originals to present for the old passports, only the current one.

Just to confirm, I have a scanned versions of every page for those old passports with old visas and all the stamps, so I CAN provide those and the dates can be easily counted out from the scans. I am just worried that HO will look for any little reason to delay or reject the application and the reason might be that I did not provide the originals of all of my passports held in last 10 years.

Has anybody been in a similar situation? Did you have to provide anything additional to strengthen the case?

Thank you very much in advance!

M

I am also looking to getting more information from SAR, though not counting on them providing full records (as many discussions here mention that they might not have all the records).
