Hi,
In my previous TIER1 Approval I had submitted Certificate (Letter) from College stating that the degree was Taught in English and it was acceptable. But in ILR form, have they changed the rules ? Nowehere it mentions that such a letter will be acceptable.
So, do I need to obtain the UK NARIC compatibility statement for me and my spouse ?
An academic qualification deemed by UK NARIC to meet the
recognised standard of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or
PhD in the United Kingdom and:
˗ UK NARIC has confirmed that the qualification was
taught or researched in English to the appropriate level;
Can someone please help here what should I do ?
Thanks

Hi,
Just 1 copy of this form is enough - for
1 Main + 2 Dependants https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... -04-17.pdf
or shall we take 3x separate print outs for each applicant ?
Thanks

You need UK NARIC.
One form for all of applying, providing your dependents meet ALL the requirements, i.e 5 years residence, English etc.
Also, please keep all your questions on the same application in a single topic/thread (this one).

Any idea when this rule changed? I had renewed TIER1 2 years ago where I submitted my College Letter stating degree was taught in English. What if UK NARIC does not recognise ?

234. You can also meet the English language requirement, without the need to provide evidence, ifyou were last given permission to stay in the UK:
under Tier 1 (General), Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur), Tier 1 (Post-Study Work) or Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) and are applying for an extension of leave to remain;
Assuming your last extension was one of the T1 categories above, you do not need to provide any evidence. You would just claim the points for the English language.

Thank - But will that be applicable to ILR Set(O) Form as in the form when we fill, there is no explicit option, i.e. it only talks about UK Naric proof & one more i.e. What should I TICK ?
˗ UK NARIC has confirmed that the qualification was
taught or researched in English to the appropriate level;
or
˗ the qualification was taught or researched in the UK
or a majority English speaking country (other than
Canada);

I just ticked the NARIC qualifications and wrote in my cover letter that I believe my degree qualifies but as I was a T1 holder, I am claiming the points without providing evidence.
I have shared my application in the T1E forum - search for "Example of an application"

Why can't you simply Google "tier 1 entrepreneur guidance"?

That I found. Question was geared more towards this sentence --

You should be more specific then when quoting what a member has said.
