Hi experts,
I need expert clarification and advice, kindly help:

I was international Student on Tier 4 student visa and I applied for SET ILR 10 yrs route and was successfully granted. I am married (my wife has Tier 4 dependant valid from 2013 to Feb 2018) and I have a UK born child (18 months on a Tier 4 dependant child on my Tier 4), now my confusions are:

1. My Child is UK born, I heard confusing advices, does my child qualify for British Passport straightaway (I read somewhere here this is correct route but I am not sure) or FLR (M) for child. My child is added to his mum in Passport but he was born in the UK before I got settlement status and he does not have any passports, if you could advise which form or route for my child.

2. for my wife, does she need to apply for FLR (M)? or some other route, she has been in the UK 4 years as a Tier 4 dependent. if she can apply on FLR (M) does the financial requirements of £22400 salary is essential (as we have a child) or not. please clarify what route and the requirements.

Thank you very much for your help

You can register the child as British citizen

Yes, she need to switch to FLR(M) which has an income requirement as you said plus the English language at A2 level.
She also has to start ILR time from zero

Thank you so much Zimba88 for your clarification,
for my wife, it is crystal clear thank you so much.

for my child, you said I can apply as BC straightaway. but are you sure I can do so even with the fact that my child has BRP which says Tier 4 child dependant and I was granted ILR when my child is 18 months old and not before he was born, he can still apply straightway for BC and not Child Dependent ?

Thanks so much

Yes you can. Register on form MN1, it cost just over £900 to register a child as British plus the cost to apply for a passport. Chile is entitled to register.
