Hello everyone I need a big help here.

My husband is in the armed forces and I came to the UK as his spouse. My BRP states my Permit as DEPENDANT LEAVE to REMAIN and it's valid until 22-11-2017. I entered the UK on 07-12-2013 so do u think I apply for a citizenship of do I have to apply for an ILR? As u know the ILR price has gone way up high so I am looking for a way to dodge it for now.. what should I do now? please help!!!!! :(

You need 5 years residence, calculated from the date of entry to the UK, before you must apply for ILR. You cannot 'dodge' the high fee for ILR unfortunately.

You cannot apply for citizenship unless you have ILR.

Is your spouse British?

What date did your first visa have as a start date?

You need an extension and can apply for ILR in December 2018.

So u mean either this or that, I have to apply for my ILR anyways. So extension is just going to borrow me some time right? And the government they don't even think about how the common people are living and just raised the fees by 25%

How do we get hold that much of amount.. it's a 2 month worth of sallery.. it's so unfair and heartbreaking
