ILR after completing 6 years DLR, case is complicated as after 1st DLR circumstances changed. What is better: premium or postal application? Of course premium is quicker and you have your documents. Also I have impression that more applications are successful. My worry is: as using premium service you maybe won't be given the right to appeal as on the day of decision you have valid leave to remain.

In person should only be used for non complex applications.

What was the circumstance change after your first DLR was granted?

You have no history of posting on the forum so unless you provide a bit more information and detail, no one can offer any useful advice.

In August 2010 I came to the UK with EEA Family Permit Visa ( with my English husband we lived in Cyprus). Husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer, after 6 months permitted stay I applied for FLR(M) as a spouse of British citizen. Application was refused. After MP asked for review in March 2011 I was granted DLR on the basis of marriage. In March 2014 I applied for extension ( FLR(O). Application was refused as my circumstances changed ( husband died in 2012). As exception I was offered the option to apply for SET(O) as bereaved spouse with new application. New application was sent within 28 days after my leave expired. SET(O) application was refused and in August 2014 I was granted 3 years DLR on the basis of Family and Private Life. My current leave expires on 17th of August 2017. On July 21st I will apply for SET(O) on the basis of 6 years DLR. I am not going to pass B1 test as it's not required. What is my chance to be granted ILR? What is better: postal or premium application?

I applied for ILR on the basis of 6 years DLR. In 10 days I received Statement of Additional Grounds RED.0003(s120 response)(6 pages). Page 4 - certification so that you must appeal from outside the UK. Does everyone receive such form ?
