Shortly applying for SET M. Advice needed

Good morning to all.

We will shortly be applying for SET M for my wife. Her 5 years will be up next year. I have some questions I wanted to ask and hoping that this knowledgeable community could offer some insight into a convoluted process.

I am a limited company director and it's employee. So I draw out a salary around £10k and draw out dividends as director this particular tax year of around £10k. Previously we were allowed to join these two sources of income together, I was wondering if this is still the case?

We are happily having our first child, however the date we expect the babies arrival coincides with her visa date. I would be loathed to take a heavily pregnant lady to Liverpool unless that is absolutely necessary. I understand we can apply by post but I would much rather apply in person. Is there any dispensation for unusual circumstances?

Last question is that we currently live in my mother's home, sadly I lost her 6 months ago and the house remains on her name. At some point within the next few months I am hoping for it to be transferred to mine. Would this cause any issues during the process?

Many thanks in advance

Still the dase, nothing has changed.

No special dispensation. She is required to attend in person or she must apply by post. What date did she originally enter the UK on her spouse visa?

No should not, submit evidence of mothers passing and property documents.

Thanks for the reply

She initially entered as a fiancée, and her resident permit expires on 8/5/18. The baby is due all being well 23/4/18. I was either going to apply 28 days earlier but it may be risky. If I was to apply by post what's the earliest I can apply? And if at the point of application we have no dependents and a couple of weeks later we become parents, what happens?

All help is appreciated

What is the date her first FLR(M) visa was granted/issued?

She had her first permit given 8/5/2013. That ran out 8/11/15. Got the extension and this is runs out on 8/5/18 I think.

Should I apply in person or would it be ok doing it by post. I've done the past two in person so is there any differences in the two methods?

Thanks in advance.
