hello everyone,
I'm going to apply for ILR via Tier 2 Gen route.
My issue is - The address on my driving license is different than other documents.
However, I won't be submitting my driving licence during BUT does any one know when they do verification check, they check these things as well?
Is it sensible to change the address on driving license now?
Please suggest.
Thanks in advance.

dont think it will appear anywhere.
However, driving licence with wrong address and having a car, can be an offence. usually done to circumvent insurance.

It is not only sensible but also a legal requirement to keep your licence updated otherwise you risk a fine.

Thanks iworker,
I'm worried because:
1. gov.uk is the only portal which serves pretty much everything example driving, visas, life in uk etc
So, I believe they have all information through one system.
2. Secondly, in SET O, they do ask if any criminal offence is committed. No offence is there but they do cross verify I guess and this address thing might come up.

i think its safer to change your driving license address to your original address. Why to take extra headache?

Your driving license has nothing to do with your immigration application
