Awaing for decision for ILR over a year can I now switch to dependent VISA

Hi Guys,

I am very new to the forum, please let me know if I am in the wrong category

A bit of background of my current situation:
ILR application sent in July-16 and still waiting for a decision. Meantime, my husband received his ILR via 10 year route in November-16 ( we both applied individually)
My question is while my ILR is still under process, can I ask home office to switch my current ILR application to dependent application as my husband got his ILR already ( I think it’s FLR M)? I understand that I have to pay the fees again, but hoping the faster the process as I am really fed up of this long wait!

Any advise would be really appreciated please!!

If above option is “do-able” , does any of you know how I need to approach to the home office for the switching please?

Thanks all!

On what basis have you applied for ILR?

What is your UK immigration history?

Hi CR001,

Thank you so much for getting back.

I applied ILR base on Tier 1 general 2+3 and had Tax amendment like others.

My history in UK is good I would say. I came in 2008 for my master then 2009 got PSW 2 years, after that was the tier 1 2+3. So Feb 2017 I actually completed my 10 years in this country as well.

Hey guys,

Any suggestion please?

I am actually thinking to start it next week or so, but the thing is do I need to call homeoffice to ask my document back and start a new dependent application? Also, is there a premium service for this kind of application please?

Please help!!

Thanks
