Hey! Im in uk on spouse visa of a british citizen, and my five years will complete in mid april 2018, whereas my visa will expire in mid march 2018. My questions are:
Can i apply directly for ILR in mid march as logically speaking one month wont make a difference... or do i need to get extension first and then ILR which will obviously add to the cost.
Secondly if i take the risk and apply for ILR in march, and the reject my application, are they gonna keep the fees or will they return it?
Thirdly if they reject can i apply again straigh afterwards or do i have some barred period in which i cnt apply for ILR again.

You are allowed to apply for ILR 28 days before completing your 5 year legal stay. You can apply few days sooner via post and you will be eligible by the time the application is processed. I have to add that the start date for you will be the date of entry to the UK.
Secondly if i take the risk and apply for ILR in march, and the reject my application, are they gonna keep the fees or will they return it?
No. The fee will not be refunded
Thirdly if they reject can i apply again straigh afterwards or do i have some barred period in which i cnt apply for ILR again.
Yes you can apply again as long either
-your visa is still valid OR
-within 14 days of refusal if your visa has expired
