Is Tier 4 Dependant visa is cancelled/curtailed if the main applicant get ILR 10 years

Hi
I have searched through the previous threads similar to my question, but I could not find the exact answer to my question. Therefore, I am posting this question. Thank you very much for your time and the response.
Presently, I am on Tier 4 visa, with my wife and very young daughter as my Tier 4 dependants. Our visas will run out in November 2018.
I am planning to apply for SET(LR) 10 years basis in December 2017. I am also planning to register our daughter immediately (Form MN1) once I get ILR in December 2017.
I am a full-time student, and my wife is looking after our newborn daughter, so It looks like my wife and I collectively do not reach maintenance threshold to apply FLR(M) for my wife immediately after my ILR. We will be fine if we can get minimum six months after my ILR.
My questions: Once I move from Tier 4 to ILR in December 2017, would my wife's Tier 4 Dependant visa cancels automatically or will it be curtailed by home office? Or can she wait as a Tier 4 dependent for at least next six months before applying for FLR(m) around June-July 2018?
Or in other words, is there a time frame for dependents to move from their point based dependant visa to FLR(M)?
Any advice and opinion will be highly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Hi,
I personally advise u to go to premium service for your Set lr.
After your ILR approval technically your wife is no more Tier 4 dependent, so if she plans to travel abroad on tier 4 dependent visa she will face problem on her return.
I see so many cases where people waited for the expiry date of current tier 1 2 4 dependent visa of their spouses before they made the flr m application. And they successfully got flr m visa without any problem.
Easiest way is to wait till u get 6 months wage slips and than apply flr m straightaway.
U will be fine.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. Yes, I will apply for same day service for my ILR, and my wife is not planning to travel until she would have applied FLR(M) also from same day service. Cheers

I am in a similar situation as above. When I called home office call centre they advised that when the main applicant who is under Tier 4 applies for the ILR 10 years long residence the dependents visa is cancelled.
If the main applicant applies for the ILR and is successful. When do the dependents have to apply for FLR(M)? Is this straight after the ILR successful application or is it anytime before the tier 4 dependent leave expires which is in our case Apr 2018?

From personal experience, I applied for long residence in September 2017 after 10 years lawful residence in the UK. My previous Tier 4 Visa suppose to expire in 2020 with my wife and two children as dependants. As there is no clarity on when to switch to FLR (M) route, I applied for my spouse and children visa extension at premium service centre in Sheffield three weeks ago and the visa was granted using combine salaried to fulfilled financial requirement, for more information check my previous posts.
