Hi there,

Firstly, thanks for the high quality support of this group.

I got my ILR October 2017 (5yr route on Tier 2 general visa).

I am planning on leaving my job and starting my business early next year. My wife will qualify (PBS dependant 5-yr) for ILR during April 2018.

My question is regarding any income and/or savings requirements for her ILR application. She is self employed with average annual earning of GBP15k. We have around GBP50k in savings.

Any help or guidance will be highly appreciated.

PBS dependant ILR has no income requirement

Can you point me towards the relevant clause? It just seems a bit off that they have no income or savings requirement (perhaps I am being paranoid)!

You are being paranoid and overthinking it.

It is only spouse settlement visas to ILR that has an income requirement. There is no income/savings or maintenance requirements for PBS dependents.
