Hello everyone

I hope all of you are fine. I need an information regarding my ILR conditions. I was granted ILR on June 2016. I been to my home country last January 15 and stayed there till 26 March. I'm planning to go to my home country again on next January for 2 months. I'm also planning to apply for British citizenship as I'm eligible now.
My questions is in my current immigration status, how long I can stay out side the UK? Will it affect my ILR visa if I visit my home country again for 2 months in next January as I already visited my country this year over 2 months ? If I apply for British citizenship, can I go to my home country after sending my application to the home office? Thanks for your time. Waiting to hear from you. Take care.

ILR stands to be revoked following a single period of 2 years or more outside of the UK. Brief visits back to the UK won't retain ILR status.

Other absence limits apply in the qualifying period for BC. It depends on how long you are away from the UK while your BC application is being processed.

You are free to go on holiday and visit home country.

zimba88 has explained clearly exactly what he means.

However, if you have been outside the UK for 2 years but only visited the UK for a couple of short periods, this DOES NOT maintain ILR status.
