Hi there .
I'm an Australian citizen with residency in the UK on a partner visa flr and I don't meet the financial requirement. So if there's a chance I would like to apply under -fp. 10 years route then change back to 5 years.

. Married in Australia.
. entered UK already married but under Yms tier 5 route. 2year.

. switched to partner visa.
. partner visa due for extension in march 2018.
. failed financial req. Now want flr fp partner 10y.

.british wife has 3 bio children .
I am Regarded as only (step)father in their lives. Also Have parental responsibility obtained by courts . No bio fathers on birth certs. (If that even matters)

Children are settled British citizens.

Reason for failing financial target was. I was stay home dad while wife worked nights .
Wife fell ill .

now I need a job as she is now on part time statutory sick pay .

Her mother also had a sudden brain tumor removed within this time making our lives turn even more chaotic.

And now her father has a hip replacement due in January.

Whilst not totally preventing me from working as such, these circumstances have impaired our plans to meet the FR through my wife's salaried income.

I have nothing in Australia to return to.
If I return I will be homeless for some time until I can work something out. I am estranged from my family and freinds and my immediate (uk) family is all I have.

I have been on UK soil 4 years in total.

Apologies , Just to clarify.

My extension is due in March but I don't meet the Financial req.

So I want to switch to fLR Partner fp.

I'm asking for opinions or if you can let me know if I have a decent case for FP.

We started doing this when we met online about 8 years ago will it never end?!. We are so over visas and stress I'm sure it will kill us eventually with the deep seeded worry always boiling underneath.
A marriage needs to be super strong just to survive it.

Thanks again.
