HI SENIOR STAFF
i am very depressed now , what shall i do? i applied ilr last year on tier(1) gen based with amendment but any results come yet i meet more than 6 solicitors 3 of them said vary my application on 10 years , 2 of them said wait until decision come and one said up to me if i want go for 10 years or keep quite , so please let me know i am mentally broken . even i already paid 25000 for tax and still paying every month for amendment.

The 10 years residency requirement is that you should have legal residency throughout including all the visas you've had were issues without any deception.
Until you're cleared of Tax amendment you cannot really apply for ILR as it will go pending as well

You have to wait until outcome of your T1.

FYI there are people who have been waiting for over 2 years who applied ILR based on T1 with Tax amendments.

I suggest you wait for Gurus to response but that' my personal understanding.
