Accommodation requirement

Hi

I will be applying for my wife's ILR next year but we will be buying our own home before we apply. At the moment we are living with my parents.

So my question is Will I still need a letter from my dad to stay that we were living at the property because from what I understand is that you need to provide accommodation evidence for the previous two years leading upto the the application.

I'm assuming that I would need to change the address on all her ID's aswell.

Thanks

There is no such requirement to show that you have accomodation for ILR. You have to provide cohabitation documents.

You will need to provide documents upto 2 years showing that your wife was staying with you. If you were staying with you parents then you'll need to show proof of address of your wife living same address

example of docs can be provided

council tax
gp letter
bank statement
children birth certificate
drivign licnese
