Hi,
I and my wife are ILR, preparing my kid's application for ILR to be sent via post.
In there I need to provide a proof about sponser's (mine) residance status i.e. ILR.
Am I ok to put a photocopy with the application or do my BRP and/or passport need to be in original?
thanks
Sumit

Photocopies should be fine. They may request original but since its all in their system I don't expect them to request.

They could also maybe send an attested/certified photocopy that would have to be accepted as original if for some reason sending the original document is difficult for some reason. A bit more expensive though.

Not a bad idea. Get BRP copy certified
