SET(0) Form Queries

Hello all,

I have booked a premium appointment in a few weeks time and am currently finalizing my documentation. While filling the form, I came across a few questions for which I would like to request some clarification/guidance. Apologies if they are no-brainers and rookie questions. I have tried searching the forums but haven't been too successful.

I'm currently on a employer sponsored tier 2 visa and filling out the SET(O) form after completing 5 years on this visa.

1. I have paid the fee online. Do I need to fill anything in the payment section?
2. Question 1.4 asks for my full name and 1.5 asks for my surname. For 1.4, do I write the first name only or the full name including surname? I'm confused here due to 1.5 asking specifically for surname.
3. I'm thinking of adding my office address in 1.18 (for all visa related correspondence) instead of my home address so that I can receive all letters (including signed ones) easily. Would that create any red flags for UKVI?
4. My salary is different on the P60 and the letter supplied by my employer. It's a few hundred pounds difference only and it's above £35k in both cases. We are trying to figure out the reason for this difference and it may be due to expense reimbursement but nothing confirmed yet. Will it create a major issue if the salary is different?
5. Question 7.14 asks for my social and cultural connections to any other country i have lived in. Does my home country count? What sort of social or cultural connections can I show besides my family living there? I don't own any property or bank accounts in the country I was born in.
6. In Section 12D, there's a question asking for documents showing I met all relevant immigration rules prior to my Tier 2 visa. Is was on student visa before that. How do I show this?

Thank you.

No, leave it blank
2. Question 1.4 asks for my full name and 1.5 asks for my surname. For 1.4, do I write the first name only or the full name including surname? I'm confused here due to 1.5 asking specifically for surname.
Yes, you provide full name in 1.4 and again 1.5 provide surname

3. I'm thinking of adding my office address in 1.18 (for all visa related correspondence) instead of my home address so that I can receive all letters (including signed ones) easily. Would that create any red flags for UKVI?
Why? Just put your own address.

You are not required to submit P60. They will check in HMRC system what salary you're getting.

The salary should be specified in your ILR Letter

5. Question 7.14 asks for my social and cultural connections to any other country i have lived in. Does my home country count? What sort of social or cultural connections can I show besides my family living there? I don't own any property or bank accounts in the country I was born in.
Yes, your home country and other country where you have spent more than 5 years. Just put like

Family ties (Mother, sisters etc)

6. In Section 12D, there's a question asking for documents showing I met all relevant immigration rules prior to my Tier 2 visa. Is was on student visa before that. How do I show this?
Leave it blank. You are only claiming ILR from Tier 2. This is for those who are combing with other visa e.g. Tier 2 ICT , Tier 1 General.

Thank you for your response.
Why? Just put your own address.
Because if a post comes (e.g. with my BRP) and I'm not home (I live alone) then it may be sent back to the post office. In the office, they have a dedicated mail room which can receive post any time during office hours. This is just a precaution to ensure I don't have to run around later.
You are not required to submit P60. They will check in HMRC system what salary you're getting.

The salary should be specified in your ILR Letter
I assume the HMRC system will show the salary written on my P60. This salary number is different from the salary written on my ILR letter. Wouldn't it create the same issue?

BRP cards are delivered by DX Courier. If you are not at home, you can arrange to collect it from one of their collections offices.

The P60 shows only annual salary. I assume the HMRC portal shows yearly too although I'm not sure. The annual salary difference is a few hundred pounds only.

Not sure yet. The office team is trying to figure out but the initial comments range from the difference arising from the bonuses I received (probably not correct) to expenses which were reimbursed. What should be the best way forward in this case?
