Hi

I am on Ent visa and will be applying for ILR in April 2018. I will appreciate if someone could advise on below queries:

1- Can anyone please advise whether do I need to maintain the maintenance funds for my dependent wife who was with me in UK at the time of grant of leave under T1 Ent in 2013 ?

2- Do we only need to complete Set (O) forms and not the Set(M) forms and should there be only one copy of the form submitted as dependant details are asked on the same form.

3- We have two children 4y and 4m old, is it ok to not apply their ILR and wait for our ILR and apply for their citizenship once we get ours?[/list]

I will appreciate your responses.

kind regards
Mo

1. There is NO maintenance fund requirement for ILR.

2. Set(O), one form for all applying.

3. Where were the children born, UK or abroad?

p.s. Kindly refrain form posting ILR questions in the Tier 1 Ent sub forum. Your post has been moved to the ILR sub forum.

You can skip ILR is you intend to register them as British once you receive ILR.

CR001 is as usually very correct and you save a lot of money not applying for ILR. There is technically a period when their current leave lapses and since they have yet to apply for anything new are not under any visa coverage (you have 3C). I do not know the reason why this is not an issue though.

Thank you guys for your response.

Do I have to show certain salary for my dependent wife? i.e. As I am company director my salary is only 10k whereas she earns £40k+. Does my salary need to be enough to support her? (Though she does not need my support).

In other words is there a salary/earning requirement for a T1 dependant to apply ILR via T1 route?

kind regards
M

Thanks CR001 for your response.

Another question, even though we do not claim any company benefits do we have to do Self Assessment? even though there is no income on that?
