I got my Tier -2 Visa in March 2013 , I worked for that sponsor for 1 year 6 months and then I lost my job having a gap of 4 months in 2014.After that I am continuously on Tier -2 till date.
My query is I have more than 60days Gap in my 5 years (2013 - 2018) of employment. Will I qualify for ILR based on the new rules I have read today? It is very confusing if they are allowing any gaps from JAN 2018 or
they are accepting people with gaps from JAN2018
If I am eligible then by god's grace all my struggles have come to an end. Someone Please reply.

Hi
I am pretty much sailing on the same boat. Consulted 3 different immigration firms of which I got 3 different opinions:
1. 100% no problem , apply confidently
2. 50-50% chances and its a risk because as my visa was renewed before the curtailment date no issues but might be a risk given the employment gap of 4 months
3. third one said chances of being rejected is 99% so dont apply for ILR !
So, where do I go from here ?? There is no government helplines to provide a sound advice and immigration solicitors state that even with changes made on the deletion of 60 months gap in Jan 2018, They are not sure whom does it apply on!
So friend, if you can find any answers please do let me know !!
