Taking Life in the UK test 18 months before application

Hello,

Would it be a problem if I take the Life in the UK test 18 months before I qualify to apply for an ILR? I read somewhere that the test results do not have an expiry, but do you think if there is a good chance that test gets updated (perhaps due to Brexit?!) and I have to retake the new test?

As my spouse is going to take the test in a few weeks, thought it would be good to study and take the test together.

Many thanks, as always!

Last time I checked you only do it once and it should remain valid whether or not they have updated the test.
