Hi,

I am currently on Tier 2 Extension. I am completing 5 year in May 2018. My SOC is 2136.
1. Is my SOC considered as appearing in Shortage Occupation List?
2. Regardless should I meet the minimum salary threshold £35,500?
3. My company is increasing my salary as I got promoted. New salary would be the £35,000 from 01 of Feb. Company updates the system with all the details and I will be producing the salary slips in the application. My current CoS has £30,000, as it was the experienced rate at the time I was extending. Will this be an issue?

I can see
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... sed-system

245HF. (d) (vi) be at least:
(2) £35,500 if the date of application is on or after 6 April 2018,
subject to (e), (f) and (g) below.

(f) Sub-paragraph (d)(vi) above does not apply if the Certificate of Sponsorship which led to the applicant’s most recent grant of leave was for a job which:
](ii) appears on the Shortage Occupation List in Appendix K, (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... ation-list)

Also I found below details

Please help me with your advice.

Not all jobs under 2136 are shortage occupation jobs. What is your job title or what do you do??
2. Regardless should I meet the minimum salary threshold £35,500?

If not SOL, then yes, you have to meet the minimum threshold.
3. My company is increasing my salary as I got promoted. New salary would be the £35,000 from 01 of Feb. Likely could be looked into by HO.
