ILR application and Tier-2 dependent visa extension.

I will be eligible for ILR application this coming July 2018 and my present visa will expired on October 2018. However, My wife and son is not yet eligible for ILR because they haven't met the 5 years criteria. Im planning to extend their visa under tier 2-dependent visa route but I am quite confused how to do this. Need help.

You haven't mentioned your VISA route but I assume it is Tier 2. What's the expiry of your wife and son's Tier 2 dependent VISA? Is it same as yours?
