"197. You cannot combine Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) leave with leave in any other category to meet
the continuous leave requirement."
You will have to complete 5 years under your current visa category before qualifying for ILR.

Your most recent grant of leave must have been under Tier 2. The continuous 5 years can
include leave you previously held as a:
• Tier 2 (General) Migrant;
• Tier 2 (Minister of Religion) Migrant;
• Tier 2 (Sportsperson) Migrant;
• Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) Migrant (see below for further information);
• Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) Migrant;
• Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Migrant;
• Tier 1 (Investor) Migrant;
• Tier 1 (General) Migrant;
• Representative of an Overseas Business;
• Work Permit Holder;
• Highly Skilled Migrant;

Could there be a difference if u are currently T2 wanting to use other previous leave than T1e wanting other previous leave (which is clearly not allowed)?
I beleive exceptional talent you can use T1e previous leave.

My error. I misread the OP's post as being currently on Tier 1 Entrepreneur.
