I am a Mexican citizen and my husband is a British national (born and always lived in the UK). I have lived continuously together with him in the UK for 5 years and also have permanent job. I have a residence permit as spouse/partner leave to remain, which expires in June. Can I apply for a permanent residence card via the EEA route?

Thank you in anticipation for your advice.

No. Assuming you meet the requirements, you would apply for ILR. Then, once granted, as the spouse of a British citizen, you can apply directly for British citizenship without waiting for a year.
