SET O form query

Hi,
I have a bit of tricky question about the ILR form via SET (O) from Tier 2. My question is about the absence from UK question. Now, I understand I have to get a letter from company HR about days away from UK for work travel AND annual paid holidays away from UK. I have some work travel to Europe, which my company will mention. I also have many trips to USA and Europe as a tourist. Now, on one of these trips, I called in sick for 2 days while I was out of the UK. I did that since I really needed to go and didn't have any annual paid leave left.
Now, my company wants a list of all my holidays for the absence letter, and I am scared they will notice that on one of the trips/holidays in 2015, I called in sick even though I was actually travelling. Is there any advise for me please? Is it required to give every single holiday/trip of mine to my HR to mention in the letter? If one or two trips are missing from the HR letter, will it be a problem while being issued ILR?

So you lied to your employer. This is not really an immigration related question on how you overcome this with your employer.

HO have all the records of your departure and arrival to and from the UK. Your employer needs to list all absence from the UK. HO do check this information from their records and your passport stamps.

CR001,
I would like to differ here please. Why employer need to list all the holidays? I mean if someone on Tier 2 is travelling outside UK for business needs then yes it makes sense for them to list but why would employer list holidays when employer isnt sure where exactly the employee was during his/her holidays? What I understand is Tier 2 to ILR applicant need to self attest/letter this information and provide passport stamp records as evidence, not any letter from employer?
Apologies if I am being an ignorant here. Please advise. Thanks.

If your holidays were OUTSIDE the UK, they must be listed in the letter as ALL absence counts towards the 180 days limit for Tier 2 General applicants.
It is Tier 1 main applicants that self attest.
If you have specif questions about absence, again, please ask them in your own topic.

No, not a specific question but same as above for Tier 2 Set O. You mean even if applicant was on private holidays (non-business) still needs letter from employer stating the dates? Employer could always say it doesn’t know where the employee was and will ask for stamps on passport. And if stamps on passport needs to be evidence then why not advise the same to UKVI directly to see stamps on passport.

The requirement is to submit absence letter from your employer(s). I don't make the rules. Please stop hijacking other members topics. The OP in this topic has asked a very specific question not related to the general absence argument you are trying to engage in.
Please continue your questions in your own topic!!

Really not trying to hijack, just saw this query and tried to make it more clearer with my understanding. And I appreciate we don’t make rules, just trying to understand the requirement of this letter. But as you said this letter from employer is required then it is required. Thanks.
