Hi,

I came to the UK in January 2013 on Tier 4 (Student) Visa. This visa was due on July 2014.

I then applied for the Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur) visa and got accepted in August 2014. This visa was for one year, expired in August 2015. I then applied for one year renewal and got accepted. The visa expired on September 2016.

I then applied for Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa and got accepted. My visa expires in 11 December 2019.

Summary:
- 16 months student visa
- 2 years graduate entrepreneur visa
- 3 years entrepreneur visa (I am on the second year)
- All applications were done inside the UK and was sticking to all due dates.

Questions:
- When should I apply for ILT? Am I eligible for ILT?
- Are the 16 months which I spent on a student visa counted towards the 5 years stay in the UK?
- Are the 2 years (grad Entrepreneur) visa is counted towards the 5 years to ILT?
- What are the requirements in my case?

Thanks for your help

It is ILR not ILT. My understanding is that you need 5 years on Tier 1 Entrepreneur.

No they are not. Student visas do not lead to settlement and cannot be counted for 5 years ILR. It can only be used for ILR based on 10 years long residence.
- Are the 2 years (grad Entrepreneur) visa is counted towards the 5 years to ILT?
My understanding is that they are not, but I stand corrected.

You need at least 5 years on Tier 1E to be eligible for ILR. Other visas will not count
