I was hoping to get some guidance on the above.

I know that it is standard exit procedure if you fly from the UK to Ireland (so swiping the passport at check-in notifying them).

However, coming back into the UK if I remember correctly you don’t go through any immigration, meaning you don’t have a record of you entering the UK.

How do I satisfy the residency requirement (for any category) in this case? Thanks.

flight booking record, boarding pass etc, if you keep them. Also letter from employer.

Satisfy what requirement ??! You do not need to show evidence of travel for ILR. You simply need to let the UKVI know they days of your absence. HO has access to exit/entry data via airlines
