Made a mistake on my ILR application? Will I be rejected?

Hi All
I applied for ILR after 6 years DLR in February. It is now April and I just realised that I ticked TIER 1 in my category (Section 3 of SET O application form) when I was, in fact, supposed to tick "Other" and explain that I was applying after 6 years DLR. Needless to say, I am panicked and incredibly angry at myself.

My question now is....Does this mean my application will be automatically rejected and all that effort and money will be for no reason? Is there anything I can do or someone I can contact at Home Office to explain the situation and ask that they use some discretion. Everything else checks out, it is literally just one tick.

Any advice at all will be appreciated. I just feel so lost right now.

Thank You

If they haven't decided, then inform them in writing or vary your application?

Thanks for the reply. They haven't replied yet. Is there a particular way/place/address I need to write to? I saw something called a PBS (Migrant Change of Circumsta nces) APPLICATION FORM after hours of searching for a resolution. Are you familiar with this?

Thanks again
