Hi,

Recently I have been trying to book an appointment for LR(SET) application using premium service. However, I found there is rarely any available appoint available in the next 45 business days. I checked around mid-night, early morning, and occasionally during the day. Is anybody experiencing the same issue lately? How often do they release new time slots

What date exactly onwards are you looking for?

You posted on the 9th May that you qualify for ILR LR in two months times, which means it is too early for dates.

They said you can book an appointment 45 business days in advance, so sometimes, when there were some time slots became available, and I found I could pick a day as far as 16/07 (roughly tow months from now). But these time slots which just became available are always on the near end of the range, like one month from now so I couldn't book on those days.

Do you have any information about when and how often Home Office release new appointments?

It is 45 days, not 'business days'. So you might see appointments further out, but you won't be able to book them.

If you need an appointment for 2 months from now, you will need to start checking from end of May for bookable appointments.

Can someone please comment on one issue

When dates become available, I only can see time slots in first one or two days.
Like
Dates are available from 20 May to 15 July, but time slots are only available in 20 May not in other dates from 21 May to 15 July.

Is this normal or there is any error in my account which does not show time slots ?

Hi, funny enough, I didn't receive any notifications from this thread, thank you for your information @CR001. Fortunately, I managed to book an appointment in Croydon on 29 June 10:30am. I saw it became available just after 0:00am:)

Just want to double check, I arrived in the UK on 26 July 2008, my appointment 29 June 2018 should be within 28 days limit right?

@pauljohnson I had exactly the same problem as you when I was trying to book, so nothing wrong on your side. Just update as frequently as possible when you have time if you haven't got one. Good luck!

Thanks for sending the link, it looks a very useful tool to have. The tricky bit of this 28 day limit is that don't know whether it is inclusive or exclusive of the starting date, or if you have to count from the next day you arrived in the UK.

You count from the date you arrived in the UK for Long residence ILR. It is not an 'excluded' date.

You can apply at any time within 28 days before 26th July 2018.
