I would be eligible for ILR (PBS DEPENDENT) 5 years this December/Jan 19. I would have been on this visa for 5 years by then. My wife and I have been married for 6 years and have been living in the same address. I was on student visa the 1st year of marriage then changed to PBS Dependent.

My question is I was told that a previous policy allowed dependent applicants married, living under same address for 5 years to apply for ILR irrespective of visa type. Is this policy still applicable? Or is it living under same address AND PBS dependent visa for five years?

Please advise.

This one. Student visas do NOT lead to ILR based on 5 years so you cannot use the 1 year on that visa.
