If you can kindly advice me. I came to UK in Feb 2008, since then I renewed my visa few times, but my last application I submitted in July 15 was refused with appeal rights. 14 days ago I received a tribunal decision saying they dismissed my case. One of the solicitor advise me to apply for flr LR to get some more time to organise my documents and then to do set LR in July as I completed my 10 years Feb 2018. When I ask another solicitor for second opinion he said as my appeal has been dismissed my ten years are not valid. Last application period from July 2015 till now will not count towards my legal period. Could you please advise me whether I am qualified for ILR application or not.

If the application in July 2015 was applied before your visa expiry, you had section 3C protection until tribunal decision so you are eligible for SET(LR)

Yes I applied before my visa expired. i.e in may 2015 I received curtailment letter asking me to submit new application, hence I applied for tier 2 visa but it got refused with appeal rights. Since then my case was with tribunal and on 26th May they refuse my case saying they dismiss my case under section 18 c. I don't know what this means. Also my stay during July 2015 to Feb 18 valid?

Your appeal was dismissed on 26th May, that is more than 14 days from losing your section 3C which prevents you from applying for a new application. What have you been doing ???
