Hi all,

I've just booked my PSC appointment through the online SET (O) application form. The issue I'm facing now is that, the form says the 'application date' is 09/07/2018 (when I sent the form over). However, my qualifying period only starts from the 20 August 2018 (the date of my appointment).

My question is - is the 'application date' for the purposes of actually applying for the ILR, the date of the online submission or the date of the appointment?

As far as I'm aware, if you fill and submit the form online, the date of application is still considered to be the day on which appointment is for.

You can wait for the more experienced members to comment.

I read a similar question a few days ago, someone who went through this confirmed it’s the date of your PSC appointment.

Thanks - I've spoken to my lawyer who seems to confirm the same. The thing that had me worried was the application date on the completed form showed as the date of submission.. but from what I've now been told, it's the date of 'consideration' i.e. the appointment date.
