I am not sure if you guys are aware that ILR application done via premium appointment has to go through the online application system now. One of the issues I have had at the moment is the latest dates for premium appointment is approximately 6 weeks ahead when I last checked this week.

My issue is I plan to book my appointment by mid september to ensure I have got my passport for my vacation on first week of september prior to proceeding with ILR application. However to get the dates in September I have to book in advance of my vacation via the online application system, which the problem is that the system does not recognise when I am trying to input my future absences dates from 1st to 9th of September.

Anyone has got any advice whether how I can proceed on this kind of scenario?

No it doesn't. You can still use the paper form and book only an appointment for premium service

It appears to bring you into a page where you will need to fill in the personal details which turns out to be a full application form instead. Kind of confused by the way the system works now. Also I am holding Tier 2 visa at the moment the link seems to suggest I have to book as part of online application.

You are not applying for a Tier 2 visa, but "all others" (ILR). So you can use the paper app.
