BRP error. How long for correction.

I received my BRP card yesterday, i found an error in my place of birth, only 2 letters are missing.
So i would like to know what happens next after i make the changes online? I received an automated mail saying that i will be contacted in 5 days, The thing is i need to book a flight in 2 weeks time. should i go ahead with the flight booking now,or do i have to wait, will i have to send my passport and brp back, and how long is all the process going to take?
