Dear All,

I will apply next month for my family via same day process. My son is over 18 and h still lives with me and fully dependent on me. I understand that he needs to submit a separate SET-O. While filling his SET-O I was struggling with section 5 ( finance ).

Should I answer section 5.4 ( does relative gives you money regularly ) as yes?

Also can you please advise on what type of supporting documents should I provide to proof he is still dependent ?

I am thinking of the following supporting documents :
-Letter from myself stating that he is fully dependent
- Letter from his college including our home address
- letter from the family GP
- His driving license

Thanks in advance for your support.

Regards

Dear All,

I will apply for ILR to myself and my son next month We both have passed the qualifying period (5 years). My Son is now 19 but he started and remains fully dependent on me. He studies in college and he works part time (not earning much).

While filling a separate set O for him , I am struggling to fill section 5 ( finance).
In section 5.4 there is question " Does a relative or a friend give you money?" should I answer this as yes as I give home some money and it appears in his bank statement.

Also I will submit the following supporting documents for proving his dependency :

1- A letter from me stating so
2- letter from his college
3- letter from the GP
4- His bank statement

Would the above be enough?

Thanks your help
