:D Hi all, just registered on this sire and here is my very first post, if anything inappropriate please help me adjust it administrators, thanks in advance!

I had already paid and submitted the online application for SET(M), according to instructions I am asked to post checklist + supporting documents + separate Declaration page signed by spouse by post. HOWEVER, I couldn't find this Declaration page download button anywhere! Neither in the middle of application, nor at the end, nor on my checklist! (Wanted to attach pictures but didnt know how  ) called home office, they hung up while saying would look into it for me  I had been searching on this forum and googling all day and night, no luck at all unfortunately. Can anyone help please? Many thanks!

Only depending on:

1. If you print out the set m form and handwriting fill in by yourself
OR
2. You filled in and submitted the application form online which is slightly different from paper set m form. Apply online is a new function since last year, hence unstable like in my case.

If you choose 1., all Declaration sections already included in your form. If you choose 2. like me, a separate Declaration by spouse will be needed, and the pdf is provided above by a kind person :D

Ahh ok makes sense. I will be using option 1. Thanks for clearing that up

Good luck with your application!

I had been googling all following combinations: set m, declaration , settlement, etc.

Must be my problem

Can someone help me with one silly question? Is the online application faster than the paper application? I mean do i get a quicker response from HO?

No. You simply send less paper to HO, pay fees online and get biometrics letter at the same time. No change to the response time though

I cant say. You can just pay online and get the biometric enrollment letter with barcode straightaway, and u may also go to post office to enroll immediately. I received the confirmation from HO the next day saying they've received my application. Most people prefer traditional paper one as online one is still new, unstable and glitchy. So up to you.

Yes with online one, questions are easier to fill in as you can just skip any questions irrelevant to you.

And you need to enroll your biometrics and post supporting documents within 15 working days, I shall say within 3 weeks.

Hi,

Can I please ask a silly question? After completing the online version of the form, do we still need to download, print and send the filled application to Home Office along with the supporting documents?

Thanks,
