I am wondering if someone can assist me.

I am a British Citizen by descent. I was born in Pakistan in 1977 and my father was British Citizen at the time of my birth. I never applied for my passport until 2009. At the time when i got my British Passport i had two children born in 2003 and 2005. I applied for ILE of my children to accompany my to UK in 2014. The application was refused and appealed against the decision. Home Office withdrew the decision and refused again after re-consideration. I appealed against the decision that was allowed. Now i received the passports of my children and it is not ILE but one year multiple visa with type TPO ACC MOTHER/CYR.

I am wondering what is this visa and when my children can apply for ILR or British Nationality. Please also note that I was a British Citizen when my children were born.

I am very confused and need an urgent reply.

It may be a multi-entry visitor visa that allows visits to the UK of up to 6 months.

British by decent does not make your children automatic citizens. They are allowed to register if certain conditions are met, but implied in your post is that those conditions have not been met (your residence in the UK before a certain age).

I think the issue is their mother. If the children are granted ILE, where is there mother and what is her status? There could be an issue with moving children against the will of one parent if the bigger picture isn't taken into account? I may be making presumptions, but your post does not provide all the info.

I don't think it is usual practice to apply for one visa (ILE) and be granted another (visitor)?

Also, did you get any correspondence or letter with their passports?

I am the mother and hold British Passport. I was British Citizen by birth but never lived in the United Kingdom. The passports are going to expire on the date of visa expiry.

The question is what visa i will apply when the current visa expire.
