I have a query regarding job creation.It will help me in my lLR Extension.

- Can I combine two part time employees (work for six months )in one year with one full time employee (work for nine months) in the following year and make one full time job?
- Two part time jobs really need to exist at the same time with same start date and end date?

Can you help me to combine the following employees?

Employee 1: 05/12/16 to 05/12/17 ( 12 months as a part time, 69 hours month)
Employee 2: 05/12/17 still Continue 2018 ( as a full time 130 hours par month)
Employee 3: 05/12/16 to 06/04/17 ( 4 months part time 69 hours month)
Employee 4: 06/04/17 to 05/06/17 ( 2 months part time 69 hours month)
Employee 5: 06/06/17 still continue (as a part time 69 hours month)
Please help me to combine these jobs.
How should I combine these jobs and make two full time job?

Can I combine like

Job 1 : employee 1
Employee 5

Job 2: employee 2
Employee 3
Employee 4

-Employee 3 and 4 did part time jobs in one year for six months. It’s less than 12 months. So is it ok?

How many jobs/positions/roles have you created in total ?? How the employees fit in the those roles ??

I had not got satisfied response on that post . Might be my post was too long and difficult to understand or was confusing that’s why I made another user name and ask just relevant questions.

It is unfair to members who are all volunteers offering free advice in their own time when users are not "satisfied" with extensive advice already given, who then register a second username asking the same questions.

Please decide which username you wish to keep otherwise both will be banned.

I have created two jobs/ position.if I count employee 2 till August so it’s 9 months full time job and combine him to employees 3 and 4.
Employees 3 and 4 did 6 months part times. It’s equallent to 3 months full time.
9+3=12 months full time job
Employee 1 did 12 months part time which is equallent to six months full time.
If I count employee 5 till June so his twelve months part time are equallent to six month full time.
6+6=12 months full time.

Am I right or wrong? Or is there any other way I can combine them?

1. Ext approval date?
2. Count number of weeks instead of months for each employee. It’ll make calculations easier. Use timeanddate calculator.
3. Keep in mind- 130 hrs per week= 1job. Apply it to your situation.
4. Use excel or draw up a table.
Once you do this you’ll have a clearer picture.

Stay calm. It’s an overwhelming process. You’ll manage it. You did the same at extension.

I got my extension approval in Dec/16.
I had two part time for two years at that time.

But this time I have one full time job and it will not finish it’s twelve months in Dec/16. That’s why I am thinking to combine it with part times. But do not understand how?

There is no guide on how to mix part time and full time employment, so there is no 100% answer.

I can only explain via my own experience and what I did.
You come under transitional arrangement.
You seem to have fulfilled the requirement.
You don’t need to combine your full timer with anyone in my opinion ( that’s what I did for both Ext n ILR)
I would put that as Job 1.
For Job 2 combine your part time staff.
From looking off hand you might not even need all of them perhaps 2.
Again draw up the calculation according to weeks.
None of us still now how the HO calculates but according to some cases they combine monthly hours but the inference from the guide it seems weekly. It’s really upto the understanding of the case worker and how they apply it.
You just make sure you send in extra payslips and RTS instead of fulfilling just 12 months.( I did that and realised I made a mistake as my employees did started or left mid month so I just sent in addidtional info)

Thank you for your valuable advice. As you said you got your ILR just would like to know that did you put all five years RTI/FPS, Annual Accounts,bank statements etc. etc. documents or just last two years?

Read guidance thoroughly.
Read the application and back everything you claim with evidence.
No accounts or bank statements required.
Only relevant time period FPS(claiming for) payslips, employee passport copies or right to work. A recent single bank statement or letter. CAR(printed within 3 months of application). CT600 etc.
Use the search function of the forum to find posts of successful applicants for the complete list.
In your case from the date of extension approval.
You qualified when you completed 5 years unless you have absences which may throw a spanner in the works or you don’t have the minimum hrs/week. Full time is 30 hrs per week. My advice is not to bother with months to stick to guidance.
FPS submissions can be done in advance for continuing employees but try not to do for more than a month. E.g if you are applying mid December you can add the FPS for December.
Look at employee 1 and 5’s weeks.
You need 104 weeks minimum. Eg if your full time employee has 51 weeks, the part time ones must fulfill the 53 weeks.
In the case of part timers, they seem to be working 16hrs per week. Calculate the total number of weeks of each add them and divide by 2. You’ll get the total for full time employment.
I can’t do this for you since I dont know when you plan to apply.

I have seen numbers of solicitors and all of them told me to put all five years documents and they don’t have job creation knowledge so don’t trust solicitors.
I am self employed so my documents are little bit different than yours. My visa is expire on 4th dec so need to apply before it.my full time employee started his job on 4th Dec 17 so he will not finish his twelve months by that time. I already finished my five years in May18. If my job combination is ok and if I am right as their requirements I would like to apply in this month without westing time.
