Hi

I made a mistake while submitting the ILr form online, and selected “NO” for have you had any absences from the UK. I have in fact had absence and have letters from my employers to provide all the details.

Can I just fix the error by hand? Or fill in a new paper form?

Will appreciate if someone could confirm.

Correct by hand, including absence schedule which you might have to do in excel based on the example in the paper version of the form.

Thanks for confirming. Any previous cases where people might’ve submitted applications corrected by hand?

Hoping it won’t be an issue at all but the confirmation email I received for the application said something like “if you have submitted any incorrect information you will have to apply again and submit a new application”
