Impact of conviction in existing ilr

Dear board members and gurus
Please could you advise what should I be wary about in my situation regarding me ilr.i have been charged with common assault in which I will most likely be convicted. Please could you advise is a çonvictipon will have any impact on my status in UK.
I got ilr in Oct 17 and have been in UK for 6 years now.

No, but it will affect an application for British citizenship.

This depends on a number of factors, including:
Are you anticipating either a custodial or a suspended sentence?
Have you any previous convictions?
Also consider the following from the 'Good Character' conditions for BC:
"2.7 Offences Which Cause Serious Harm
Decision makers should take into account the harm caused by a particular offence when
assessing character, even if the punishment imposed would not normally lead to an
application being refused in line with Table 2.1. The decision maker should apply the
same approach on serious harm as that set out in the guidance on the General Grounds
for Refusal"
