In GOV.UK, residence spent under Tier 2 ICT under rules after April 2010, it will not count towards ILR. So, after switching to Tier 2 general visa, residence count starts from visa issued date in UK. So, living part is clear.

Queries are,
Regarding work period i.e between ICT actual end date and General actual work start date, does this whole period count towards ILR ?
Under Tier 2 general only, does applicant has to complete 5 years of employment to apply for ILR?

From this forum, I would like to know if there are any successful ILR applications with combination of (Tier 2 ICT after 2010 + General) work periods ?

ILR qualifying period starts from the Tier 2 general visa ISSUE DATE onwards, actual employment start date is not relevant.
You can apply 28 days within completing the 5 years of residence in the UK and onwards.
