Hello Experts,

Hope you are good. I am completing my 5 years as British Spousal dependent in end of January 2019 So I believe I can apply for ILR Set(M) in the beginning of January 2019.

I have a few questions which would be great if you could help to answer so i can prepare in time.

1) We both have been living together ever since I came to join my wife in the UK. We started living in Glasgow for couple of years and then because of work we both have moved down to London. However our Glasgow house remains as a permanent resident since we are still paying council tax on both of us name. But due to employment, we are living in London so we have London address proof as well. My questions is how best to tackle this? Should we keep one address as Permanent and London one as temporary?

2) My last "leave to remain" was renewed in Mid 2016, How many years of address proof required on both of our name for ILR application?

3) I believe the application process is changed now and we can only apply online? Can someone please guide what changes have happened? There is no more guidelines available for ILR application.

Thanks,

1. Explain in a covering letter perhaps and evidence from both addresses.

2. Last 2 years.

3. See link below.
