Hi,
My friend has to apply for ILR on the basis of 10 years route. Currently he is on European spouse visa for last 3 years. He wants to know what documents he has to show for his wife . Does he needs to provide his and wife payslips, employment letter and other documents such as P60 etc.

Yes, for any time under the EEA rules, he has to provide evidence that his EU partner was a qualified person exercising treaty rights. This in addition to the standard LR requirements.
